projects for all species types with all IUCN classifications throughout the world.

Develop conservation strategies for the critically endangered Poecilotheria smithi by study of occurrence and ecology in the newly discovered location.

Hamiguitan Wildlife Sanctuary (newly declared UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014) will provide a vital piece of information towards its conservation. Pinstripe Damba
The Pinstripe Damba is an endemic and Critically Endangered fish of northwestern Madagascar. Since 2008, this fish is known only from one lake: Tseny. The challenge is to increase the population size to a level that will allow both conservation and harvesting for food. As a step forward, this project works to raise local awareness on fishery regulations.

Christmas Island giant gecko
Saving the reptiles of Christmas Island, Indian Ocean.
This research aims to identify and inform control of threatening processes causing catastrophic reptile declines on Christmas Island. This research will support future reintroductions of two critically-endangered reptiles, now presumed extinct in the wild, and prevent the last remaining species found in the wild, the endangered giant gecko, from going extinct.
