The mission of APOWA is to conserve nature, especially endangered species and their threatened habitats, in partnership with communities. APOWA acts to conserve natural resources, threatened species and ecosystems in coastal Orissa, choosing solutions that are sustainable, based on ground work and take account of human needs.APOWA aims at to realize a set of objectives so as to recreate, renovate, regenerate, protect & promote advancement of all living beings, structures and lively frame works. The initiative of APOWA is to protect and restore the ecosystems in ways that benefit species, indigenous communities. APOWA builds upon the organization’s core strengths: achieving demonstrable results; working with a wide range of stakeholders, science-based, robust conservation planning methodologies; our experience with transactions; and, perhaps most importantly, our ability and commitment to back up our strategies. APOWA undertakes roles including project management, capacity building, specific training programmes, public awareness activities, environmental education work, biodiversity planning and Project preparation.
