Ecological characterization of Dermatemys mawii Gray, 1847 population at the National Park Sierra Lacandón in the Mayan Biosphere Reserve, Guatemala: i. Field sampling of individuals in the water bodies in the National Park Sierra Lacandón using a capture-recapture method. ii. Calculate and describe the population parameters (demographic pyramid, sex ratio and population density). iii. Train six mayan Q'eqchi women of the communities in Sierra Lacandón to become the future rangers.
