LA RESERVA ORQUÃDEAS: PROTECTING THE CLOUD FOREST OF THE NORTHERN COLOMBIAN ANDES
1- To explore trails for orchids, collect them from fallen branches and take them to a nearby nursery for reproduction, monitoring.
2- To reproduce orchids collected from trails for identification, education and reintroduction to the forest.
3- To raise the awareness of the general public and different stakeholders in Colombia about the importance of orchid diversity for the country and to involve local communities in the orchid cultivation and horticultural practices of orchids and other ornamentals.
