Genomic diversity, geographic distribution, and conservation status of Poidium serranum (Poaceae), an endemic species from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
The main objective is to quantify and map Poidium serranum populations, assess their genetic diversity, and identify new occurrences and potential threats.
The specific objectives are to:
- Assess the distribution and population size of Poidium serranum in southern Brazil;
- Estimate the genetic variability and population structure of Poidium serranum;
- Identify areas of high genetic diversity and priority conservation sites within the natural range of Poidium serranum;
- Assess the conservation status of Poidium serranum following the guidelines of the IUCN.
