Research and conservation of wild sturgeon and and their aquatic habitat from the Northwest of Black Sea
Objective1 - will be monitoring and research of sturgeons, in particular Russian Sturgeon In the Northwest of the Black Sea, through scientific fishing. Objective2- will be the monitoring and research of sturgeon juveniles in the Danube during downstream migration to investigate the atural reproduction of wild sturgeons. Objective3 - will be the research of aquatic habitats to identify possible causes that have degraded the aquatic ecosystem andwhat have affected the wild sturgeon populations. We will analyze the physicochemical, mechanical and biological components, that interact in sturgeon life cycles, through a specific laboratory analyzes and through a study of the literature and especially substances that are responsible for of homing. Objective4- will be the analysis and evaluation of the legislation responsible for the protection of the environment and of the critically endangered species The results of this analysis, corroborated with the scientific data and will allow us to make a proposal to the NFAA for declaring the sturgeon feeding area a strictly protected area and also for improving the national legislation. Objective5-Raising public awareness about the importance of sturgeon protection by producing a documentary and presenting it in high schools an a scientific paper in an International Journal.
