Finding, Population Size, and Conservation Sang's Paphiopedilum Orchid (Paphiopedilum sangii) in Sulawesi.

The main objective is to gather baseline population data of Paphiopedilum sangii through on-site conservation efforts in Sulawesi. This will inform the development of a strategic conservation plan that aims to: 1. Estimate the current population size and distribution of P. sangii in its natural habitat. 2. Characterize its habitat's physical and biological factors (soil type, elevation, temperature, humidity, and associated species). 3. Develop conservation strategies, including in-situ and community-based approaches. Ex-situ conservation is carried out through in vitro propagation and generative propagation.
