Saving the Critically Endangered Chameleon ‘Calumma tarzan’
This project aims to: (i)Confirm the presence of Calumma tarzan at three localities; (ii)Estimate the population sizes at each new location; (iii)Study the habitat preferences of the species; (iv)Understand the interactions between people and Calumma tarzan throughout its range; and (v) Develop a conservation strategy for the species. As of October 2020, we are in the process of collecting data to respond to objectives 1 - 4.
