Providing essential data about the population status and ecological requirements of the Cat Ba Tiger Gecko (Goniurosaurus catbaensis) for conservation

 To determine the population status (size/structure) and population trends of the Cat Ba Tiger Gecko with respect to increasing anthropogenic stressors in Vietnam,  To predict the presence of overall availability of suitable habitats by SDMs and to verify these forecasts by targeted surveys,  To assess the ecological niche and degree of adaptation of G. catbaensis (i.e. habitat preference, spatial distribution, trophic niche),  To evaluate potential threats to G. catbaensis and provide appropriate recommendations for concrete conservation measures.
