Main goals

 

1.- To census of known population.

2.- To collect seed for preservation in seed banks (University of Valencia, University of Almería, and Politechnic University of Madrid).

3.- To analyze the genetic diversity of the known population.

4.- To establish common gardens in The Botanical Garden of Valencia, The Botanical Garden of Cabo de Gata, and the experimental centre of Polytechnic University of Madrid.

5.- To look for new populations in appropriated areas of Sierra de Gàdor, with drone and voluntaries of NGO (citizen science).

6.- To reinforce the original population and / or create new populations in appropriate habitats.

7.- To know the reproductive system and detect the existence (or not) of inbreeding depression.

8.- Dissemination of the actions and results of the project in scientific journals, publications, social networks and institutional webs.
