The Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund has awarded $28,755,053 to 3050 conservation
projects for all species types with all IUCN classifications throughout the world.

Brown-headed Spider Monkey
The Natural Park Munchique, one of the government protected areas in the Tropical Andes, is threatened by the conversion of forests into crops and hunting pressure. The present´s work purpose is to conduct a participative monitoring of large mammals with human communities, which collects information about the actual state of health of the ecosystems, determine abundance indexes, habitat uses, and the effect of human activities.

Marsh Crocodile
An investigation of the status of crocodiles and their habitats in Sri Lanka and assessment of human-crocodile conflict . Approximately 10-20 people are killed annually and about 50 people are attacked by crocodiles in Sri Lanka. Propose actions that should be taken to minimize this conflict as well as to conserve the crocodiles and their natural habitats.
