projects for all species types with all IUCN classifications throughout the world.

Four-spotted click beetle
The projest goal is to assess the status and distribution of Ampedus quadrisignatus and several other globaly threatened and data deficient saproxylic click beetles in oak and beech forests in central part of Dinaric Alps (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Ampedus quadrisignatus is an obligate saproxylic click beetle that is very rare throughout its range. Its populations are severely fragmented and declining due to habitat degradation.

Given the continued spread of non-native Green Iguana throughout the Lesser Antilles the regional endemic iguana, Lesser Antillean Iguana, is rapidly declining. With recent hybridization now also present on the island of St. Eustatius we are trying to stop this process, catch all non-native iguanas and prevent future invasions to thereby safeguard this populations' future.
