projects for all species types with all IUCN classifications throughout the world.

Beautiful Forest Toad
With only a handful of sightings, the aptly named Beautiful Forest Toad is as elusive as it is stunning. It's known range is restricted to a very small patch of forest, which has not been properly surveyed by herpetologists in the last decade. To assess its conservation status, we aim to seek it out, on the top of one of Tanzania's Eastern Arc Mountains.

Calilegua Marsupial Frog
This project will implement an ecoacoustic monitoring of endangered frogs in the forest-grassland ecotone of Yungas Andean Forests in Northwestern Argentina. Representing the ecotone of montane grasslands and montane forest of Yungas where moist and cold environmental conditions predominate. This ecotone is located on the tree line of Yungas forest and could act as climatic refugia for endangered and endemic frog species of Calilegua NP.

Giant Southern Salamander
The lungless salamanders as the Southern Giant Salamander live in humid environments like the cloud forest of the Mixteca region in Oaxaca. Unfortunately, huge areas of forest have been lost or disturbed because of anthropogenic activities as coffee plantations. This project aims to generate knowledge about the ecology of this species in modified and pristine areas to develop a forestry management plan.
