The Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund has awarded $25,761,849 to 2742 conservation projects for all species types with all IUCN classifications throughout the world. Project managers that have decided to publish their projects, are illustrated on the map below.

Beck's Petrel

Beck's Petrel: finding the first breeding site of a Critically Endangered seabird. "Lost" for over 75 years it's now 12 years since the rediscovery of Beck's Petrel, but it's breeding grounds remain unknown. Facing potential threats from invasive species at its colonies our priority is finding a nest site by working with local communities and researchers in New Ireland, Papua New Guinea.

Gador's snapdragon

Gadoria falukei (Plantaginaceae) is an Angiosperm species critically endangered, recently discovered, endemic from a unique locality of the Sierra de Gádor in Almeria province, Spain. This project aims to perform fieldwork to search for new locations of the specie, conduct a comprehensive census, and know its genetic structure. All to assess its real threat and propose measures to ensure its conservation.
