This project focuses on the IUCN assessment and conservation of Artocarpus annulatus, an endemic tree species in Sarawak, Malaysia. It is the only truly wild member of the lineage containing two crop species (jackfruit and cempedak). There are very few collections of A. annulatus, and no IUCN assessment exists. Based on existing data, it could be classified as critically endangered and more data are needed.

09-12-2015 - Alfiler
Preserving Acacia belairioides, a critically endangered endemic tree from serpentines in north-eastern Cuba. This species is considered critically endangered. Potential causes of the threatened status of the species are fragmentation and loss of habitat, which led to the disappearance of a subpopulation. This project will contribute to the enrichment of natural populations and provide updated conservation status.
